Description
My words are failing me & I can't swim
upcurrent. I used to know the meanings,
but it's simplified to 2D pen strokes
on some relatively old yellowed paper
given as a gift before my eyes could see
- back when the world was draped in water blue
and beasts knew my name.

I wanted to break the illusion of you
imprinted onto pixels, files you can download
but I didn't know. It seemed like wires lied-
the connections were all burnt out,
the cables fried.
