It was a day like any other.
Beautiful sunshine, warm temperatures, no clouds in the sky.
But still, Keto knew somehow that today he could do it - he could finally learn Flamedancer.
His father didn't want him to try it alone, but really - what could happen?
As long as he stayed on the beach near the water there would be no danger of forest fires or whatever Rascal was scared of.
So, Keto trained all day long until the sun was up high in the sky, burning mercilessly down on him.
While it was getting hotter around him, he felt the heat also building up in his body.
He had felt the same sensation when he had learned Blaze, so somehow he knew what to do.
The heat was building up further and further until he almost couldn't bear it and let it go -
Flames started materializing around him and Keto let out a gleeful laugh.
Happily, he ran around the beach, letting the flames dance around him, just like the name of the attack said.
He did it.... he really did it!
Instantly he wanted to show off his new attack in front of his father, but at this moment he saw Moon sleeping at the edge of the beach.
Well, he shouldn't be picky.
Running toward her, he called out: "Moon! Moon, look at me! I did it! I really did it!"
But Moon only opened one eye lazily and murmured something incoherent.
Keto called her name a few more times but got a little frustrated when she just ignored him.
Sure, it was no secret that his sister didn't like him but couldn't she just once be a little nicer to him?
If she didn't pay attention to him, then maybe he had to show her what he could do!
He commanded the flames to dance around Moon and tried to talk to her again. "Come on, Mooooooooooon! It's fun!"
Moon seemed to feel the heat from the flames and opened her eyes now...
But instead of looking impressed, she just looked scared. "Keto... what are you doing?"
Nervously she eyed the flames and edged backward a little.
"What do you mean, can't you see how great this is?" His voice grew a little louder with frustration but somehow the flames also reacted to his mood.
They also got bigger, dancing more wildly and faster now.
Before Keto could even attempt to get them under control again, Moon screamed with fear and pain.
Keto froze in fear and saw that his sisters' ribbon was on fire.
Oh no. No no no no no no....
Trying to get control over the flames, he jumped away from Moon.
Please go out you damn flames, GO OUT!
He was fighting with his inner self now until he was able to erase the flames and walked towards his sister again.
Keto had never felt so guilty in his life, his heart was racing and he felt like a hot stone was lying in his belly.
Don't let her be hurt.... Please let her be okay...
She was sitting with her back toward him, crying softly.
"Moon.... are... are you ok? I'm so sorry...."
With a bad feeling in his guts, he walked around her and saw that her ribbon was scorched and it seemed she had extinguished the fire with her paw.
There was a huge burn over it and she was shaking with pain.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry Moon... I... I didn't want to do that.... I'm sorry..." Keto could only apologize, he didn't even know what else to say. )
He really wanted to hold her and console her but he was too scared to touch her...
This was bad... really bad...
Keto knew he had to get help but he just couldn't go to his father - he would be SO angry.
But where else could he go? Maybe... maybe his mother could help!
