The feline in this picture is a shadowcat. Shadowcats are a bit like the silvercats; they are ancient spiritual beings with magic powers. They may look vicious on the outside but they aren't evil (some of them are but majority of them are neutral/good). Shadowcats can appear with or without wings (just like silvercats). Their pelt is always quite dark colored with some lighter or darker markings.

Shadowcats live in the Shadow Forest, which is connected to the Moon Forest. Silvercats and shadowcats are mostly neutral towards each other but friendships between them aren't out of question. Shadow Forest is dark, foggy and a bit scary, but it isn't terrifying like the dark forest where evil clan cats go after death. Shadowcats consider it a paradise, but other cats have differing opinions regarding it.
