You are probably right, everything depends on your preferences, but hey, don't be so modest! It's definitely also about the talent.

And maybe I just used some low-quality paper, who knows. But I feel really inspired by you now so maybe I'll give it a second chance.

Thank you again for your response and for motivation you gave me!

Oops, sorry, I wanted to reply your comment but I wrote a new one instead And I have no idea how to fix that, too complicated!

Haha fine, thank you!

Yeah the type of paper you use is even more important when you're drawing with markers. All the almost board-like, smooth, thick papers are the best for markers in my opinion. Personally I use Canson Illustration, I think I paid under 10 Euros for it. It's really good.

Definitely give it a second try if you feel like it! I'm sure markers aren't everyone's cup of tea but hey, maybe you're going to turn out to be one of the people who likes them, who knows.

No need to thank me! Thank you for your nice words! And good luck if you decide to give markers a second chance!

That's no problem!

Wow! May I ask you what did you use to draw this? Love the smoothness of the drawing!

Thank you!   I used Promarkers, they blend really nicely!

Thanks for reply! Well, that makes it even more outstanfing. I tried Promarkers once but it was a nightmare for me. I guess markers require great skill and you have it! Keep going!

Of course!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! In my case I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to work with.  I guess it's all about personal preference, personally I find markers easier to add shading with than pencil. Which is admittedly pretty weird.

I doubt it's about skill, this was the third time I used markers for a proper drawing. I suspect they just happen to fit my personal liking better. Thank you so much!
