Tsezy (Dido) are on of the indogenous nations of the Caucasus and live mostly in the southwestern part of Dagestan.
Some Tsezy live also in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Their language belongs to the northeast Caucasian group of the Indo-European family. Written form of it is currently being developed. The name is said to derive from the Tsez word for "Eagle", which is most likely a folk etymology.
The name "Dido" is derive from the Georgian word "didi" meaning "Big".

Total number of Tsezy/Dido is estimated to be around 15.000.
Since 2003, there is an organization promoting Dido language and culture, National-Cultural Autonomy "Didoitsy"
