Well after Geno unlocks his true potential he loses part of his face during it, but instead of fixing this he leaves it. He just kinda thinks "well if I'm gonna accept this then I should accept seeing it too!" So he ignores the weird looks he probably gets and just learns to be himself!And for him being in the tea shop. Well after him and his father make up, he takes breaks when his heart is really acting up from all the fighting to help his old man around the tea shop again!
