Description
New piece: The Mystery Dance, because I suppose that’s what doing digital artwork always is for me. I never begin with a notion of what I want to create. Rather, I wait until something grabs my attention, then move with it as it seems to demand—adding in image layers, fades, brush strokes, color adjustments, overlays, etc., until it feels like it wants to stop. Only then do I sit back and realize, “Oh that’s what you wanted to be.” I suppose I always feel this may be useful for people, to consider what something wants to be rather than working to render what one wants to see.
