Description
This is a Photo i took in Jan. 2015. Definitely the best capture of that Evening
I tried to preserve the original colors of the picture (the blue on the woods on the right is caused by a big company logo for example)
and mainly Edited the foreground (which was way too saturated) to give it a more natural look. Enjoy!
If anyone likes a print of this, contact me and I'll do an HQ edit on it

Full of evocative power and a definite, if hard to pinpoint, sense of wonder. Indeed, there are many parts of your picture which help create a very special atmosphere, halfway between the magical and the eerie, such as the rolling swirls of mist or the distant street lights looking as if a fire had just started, contrasting with the comforting seasonal landscape of snow and fir trees. The two high-rise buildings seeming to emerge from the forest on the right are particularly fascinating to my mind -- something in the combination of natural elements surrounding a (little ?) town and the traditional features of bigger cities has always captured my imagination. Great shot !

Your interpretation perfectly describes my time there, which was both magical and other times even scary.
You are right, it is a small student village in the Black Forest, Germany. Missing a few residents to call iteslf a town.
The two high-rise buildings are student residental homes.
