First of all, congrats on your first art trade! I can tell you put a lot of effort into shading the hair and clothing. It also seems you put a lot of effort into the details of her clothing.
You can improve your future works by taking better pictures (if you don't have a scanner). Try putting your drawing in a well-lighted room, and also shine a lamp on it. You can also edit it digitally to make it look a bit brighter.

Yea I don't have a scanner so I always struggle with taking pictures of my drawings, but I will definitely try the things you suggested for my future drawings.
