I love your choice of keeping their skin tones and hair colors; it really makes a nice focus on each one, as if expressing a bit of their personality. And even that you left out their eye colors adds to the solidarity of the whole picture.
And the expressions are so cute. I love how they all look different. And their outfits are so adorable! <3

I love the look of works in progress like this! It looks awesome so far. I bet it will be epic when it's completed. c:
Maybe if they all have a certain color or two in their original palettes, then you could make that the focal color, and keep everything else grayscale or sepia?
Or if you still want to use all of their colors, then you could just overlay a lighter color over the image when you're finished? I use filters like that sometimes if I want to achieve a sense of sun, haze, dark, etc.

Oh, sepia is like the brown version of grayscale. xD And focal colors would be the colors that pop out the most.

yeah that actually sounds like a good color scheme. except alix has pink hair and ace has blue, and im not sure if those colors will go together so well... e3e
