History: Callum is the third-born foal of a stallion whose band roams the plains. His dam was not the lead mare, but he and his siblings were loved nonetheless. Rather uneventfully, Callum was driven from his herd just shy of two years old, when drought left the lead stallion with little choice but to reduce the size of his band so that the little water they did find in their travels might last just that much longer. After several confused days trying to follow his mother, Callum finally succumbed to the rite that his siblings before him had gone through, and he became a bachelor stallion.

Thirst drove Callum northward, into the mountains, where at death's doorstep he found pure glacial runoff in the form of a trickle from the rocks that threatened to split his hooves. From that day forward he remained in the mountains, ranging occasionally down into the foothills in search of a new band to call his family. Many have driven him out of their lands, but one day he will surely find the herd he's been searching to be a part of.
