.....OK, this is the LAST Okami related pic I'm doing (for a loooong time anyway).

Yey for my 100th deviation!

It is the cover page of the Celestial Brush calendar I've been making. I'm doing this as a (late) Christmas gift for some of my friends.

Doing this little project of mine was a lot of fun, because its allowed me to dabble with traditional art again, after putting it aside for a while to work on digital stuff. But its high time that I start working on more original stuff.

For Christmas, I got plenty of Hobby Lobby gift cards, and one of the things I bought with it was Bristol board. I always see good artists using it, so I wanted to see what the deal was...and I must say, its pretty nice. Its smooth and doesn't warp too much when wet (like my scrapped CB pic done on computer paper).
