Sometimes all you need is a really big gun. The Gravity Gunner is a Mech built by the Jacob’s Corp and is an anti-mech artillery gunner.

True to its name sake its main weapon is a gravity cannon. This cannon creates an extremely high gravitational pull at the front the barrel, pulling the projectile forward at extremely high velocity. This method of propulsion frees space in the projectile itself for more explosive power as it no longer needs to house the propulsion system. However the technology for gravity propulsion is quick large and so is only practical for large weapons such as this. The gravity canon comes with an additional benefit as it can create gravitational fields at a short range to immobilize enemies, or throw objects around.

The Gravity Gunner can fling extremely high explosive rounds at a very long range, reigning artillery fire down upon the enemy. The Gravity Gunner is most often used in defensive formations in the outer edges of the galaxy. It is perfect for defending planets against ships or advancing armies. You will most often find Gravity Gunners stationed on Space Stations as support units helping to defend the planet.
