Birthday sketch for
This fellow (his name is Chase) is a construction worker; He found a sword on the site for a new office building. When he picked it up, it "chose" him, granting him some superhuman advantages (moderately increased strength, speed, durability, faster healing). It also withdrew it from the remains of the dragon it had been used to slay, which promptly reanimated and went on a rampage through the downtown area of the city. The resulting battle (which drove the dragon into the subway system to nurse its wounds), left the newly chosen knight torn, scorched, bloody, and having to explain to his alarmed boyfriend what he was doing on the afternoon news...
