Anorexia is not the act of losing weight purposefully; anorexia is when you do not eat at all or barely eat, because you are mentally ill or lack nutritional information. A person who hates how fat they are and have decided to lose bodyweight will have recurring moderate caloric deficits and abstain from high fructose corn syrup which leads to a caloric deficit that causes weight loss. Some doctors will tell you tracking calories, even if it's to maintain weight, is anorectic behavior, and that disliking your current weight will lead to disordered eating. These doctors are called quacks. What you will need is google or a nutritionist. A nutritionist will tell you to track calories.
Anorexia is not eating. Body dimorphic disorder is not properly seeing your own body. Fear of weight gain isn't a disorder when two thirds of America and growing are overweight.

...wow.
Just...wow.
I was hoapitalized twice before age 17 [yeah go on and talk crap, you people who have never suffered an eating disorder]. There are no words to describe that lifestyle, so before you people judge someone that has an E.D., think about it first-- Example::
A.] Once someone is stuck in an eating disorder, they may never EVER be %100 the same again. [TRUST me.] And studies show, I kid you not, that %10 of all eating disordered people die. [If I had known that goin in, things would be a LOT different!! lol]
B.] Little things make a BIG difference- E.D. sufferers often to take things too personally... so if you have a close relationship w/ someone with an E.D., I'm sorry to say it, but chances are that a lot of things you say are overanalyzed, so as long as you are nice things are ok. lol ok maybe not for everyone, but ya know? Just some tips.
C.] If your significant other has an eating disorder, you need to tell them if you think they are beautiful, no matter what, because that is the sweetest thing you can say. Compliments can work wonders.

This is great. I especially love the way that the measuring tape's lines echo the vertebrae in a spine. That wasn't actually meant to rhyme. (haha, nor was that)

I really like this! It's powerful, with the measuring tape being one of the dominant parts of the shot.
Nice job!

My sister had anorexia some years ago. Now she is better, and we are doing a site about anorexia. Would you mind if I use this image on the site?
