About:Coming from an extensive line of family royalty, Asgore Dreemurr sits on the throne as the king of all monsters. Unfortunately, life hasn’t been easy on his golden heart. His parents raised him to be a stern ruler with an iron first to the point where he was nearly heartless, but that all changed when he met his soon-to-be beloved, Queen Toriel. When he first took the throne, he swore happiness for all monsters. But with each passing decade, hostile gestures and discriminatory exploitations made by the neighboring humans hadn’t gone unnoticed by the royal family. With harsh limitations being put in place by the humans, Asgore finally had enough and put his foot down. Although he promises happiness, Asgore proves he’s willing to make sacrifices for the betterment of his people’s future; Ignoring the protests of his pupil he closed importations and exportations of goods to the humans as well as limiting visitation on monster land with exception to dire circumstances. As a result, monsters had to fend for their own materials and couldn’t rely on convenience- and if monsters rebelled against the king’s orders they would be jailed. The stand-still angered both humans and monsters for quite a long time. Despite how harsh the order was, monsters grew used to it... but the same can't be said for the humans.
