Description
This is a character I'll be playing in an upcoming D and D game, or rather an older version of him. IN the game he'll be around 30 years younger, but the game overlaps our current game, which is set in the future of the one with Lockheed in it.

Lockheed I think will be an interesting character, and the first remotely tragic figure I'll have played in a long time. He didn't loose his entire tribe, his wife, his children, or anything like that.

He becomes a Baron.

Why the hell is this tragic? BEcause he's a Barbarian character, and because the only reason he originaly came to civilized lands is to understand the things he though of as an enemy to his way of life.
His backstory largely centers around a repeated dream of fighting another man to a standstill, himself the Barbarian, the other an icon of the civilized world. He saw the dream as profetic, indicating weather or not his culture and people would truly survive the spread of civilization in the world.

In the inevitable longrun of things, Lockheed obviously ultimately would loose that battle, and be swallowed by the world he saw as corrupt. He has a rather beautiful half elf wife, perhaps children, certainly standing...
But at the same time, he still lacks one thing deeply important to him.
