Quinlan Vos and Aayla the 'fancharacters' again. Again drawn durring game, so please no lectures on how this would never happen in the books. Blah.I like it, and his hair came out well IMHO.
The writing says:

There's a cheat way to do the dreads that I've been drawing, although there's no cheat way I've found to draw Aalya's creepy moving Leku.

Lekku are actually directly connected to their brain and the motions and quivers are actually a language all their own. However if you don't have lekku then you really can't understand it.
Females too can be a multitude of colors, it comes from when they were more primal creatures and the females would have to attract males through flashiness...males on the other hand tend to be more bland colors. Usually blood lines determine ones colors and status...
