the normals feel very flat. do you have them set incorrectly ?

They are set correctly but you are very much correct. These screenshots were taken before I had a chance to go into Ndo and beef up the areas that were added texture wise.

My first initial bake was just used as the normal to keep the smoothing groups I set intact. I look forward to re posting this when I can
