Excuse my horrible explanation skills!
A custom is where you create a design based off some colours or an existing design.
So for example you can have a custom that looks like number 1 and 3 (But it's a ixture of both) or you could create a different design that the "customer" (probably the wrong terminology) asks for Like "Red and white markings"
Hopefully that makes sense, sorry for my awful explanation!
