And as that buzzing grew to a muted roar, and TK felt herself slipping away...she felt something else as well. Something long, and thin, and furred...brushing against her hand. Snatching out for it as if it were a literal lifeline, a rope which she could climb back to air and life, it slowly filtered down to TK's fast-fading mind just what she'd grabbed.

It was Sonya's tail.

With memories rushing through her gray-fuzzed brain of how badly her own tail had hurt while pinned tight between her legs in that demonic hog-tie...TK reacted on vicious, gut instinct. With every last bit of her remaining strength, she twisted at Sonya's tail, feeling a satisfying pop as the furry, snake-like limb seemed to kink at a ninety-degree angle...

And then Sonya screamed. A terrible, agonized roar...sounding every bit as surprised as it was pained, as outraged and disbelieving as it was pathetic. It was like hearing a schoolyard bully suddenly break down into hysterics after stumbling and knocking out his two front teeth while in pursuit of a victim he thought of as weak. Sonya thrashed backward, her hands coming away from the pillow, and flailed in fury and suffering. TK held onto that twisted tail, and wrenched it harder again. Without missing a beat, her other shaking hand came up and snatched at the smothering white pad, ripping it away even as she glared up through muzzy, hate-filled eyes at her whimpering, struggling foe.

"Wh-who... Who's...th-the feeb...?" TK gasped, her jaw clenching even as she sucked heaving lungfuls of breath into her burning chest...
