Description
"Lucifer is a Latin word (from the words lucem ferre), literally meaning "light-bearer", which in that language is used as a name for the dawn appearance of the planet Venus, heralding daylight. I like the colors you used. Most representations of Lucifer see him as the xtian devil. I really like the idea of Lucifer the Light Bringer. The whole image comes together really well. I think I would make his wings a little larger, but it's hard to do without taking away from the impact of his face. I think his wings should also have a glow around them. It's a wonderful image! All hail, Lucifer, Bringer of Light and Wisdom!!

according to luciferism , Lucifer is the angel who want to bring wisdom and knowledge of nature to the Man , who oppose to God , keeping Man ignorant and servile (a kind of Prometheus vs a tyrannic zeus in a way , globally : Lucifer = Prometheus ("that think before" ) . translation can be "light bearer" , but also Light bringer , ferre means both (to bear and to bring)

The only suggestion I have is for the blending of the wings: Try using a clone tool set to a low opacity instead of the smudge tool . clone a little at a time of the wing onto the skin for a more realistic blending of the two textures !...

What a concept! I love the aged look on this. He looks ancient! Nice. Where the wings join the body, it looks a little stretched and blurry, but the background glow, the stars, the halo. Excellent! His forehead symbol is a little off but the eye glow is perfect. Really nice piece. Good job.
