Betrayed by his fellow admins and exiled to the snow wastelands, Arbitrator wanders the snowy plains without a purpose.
Though as an admin of the higher planes he does not need to eat or rest, the years without contact or a change in scenery begin to take thier toll. Resentment and anger for those he once called allies builds and his soul begins to erode with hate. In time it could be completely destroyed, and none know what Arbitrator's fate will be then.

Ok, when I draw I tend to make up a story to go along with the image. I can't help it.

I drew this at the request of a mate who pretty much just asked me to draw him and make him look cool. I've been playing a fair bit of HOMM V lately so I decided to draw him in armour. Then the story popped into my head and he changed from looking cool to this. It has given me ideas for future story arcs for my comic however.

I don't often draw without lineart as I have a habit of sketching the image first, then wandering off and playing a game. Coming back, cleaning the sketch, wandering off again, then finally coming back to colour and shade it. With this I just jumped right in with a bunch of grey blobs and started working from there. The arms and legs changed positions quite a few times and the chest design changed often aswell. In fact the only thing that didn't change was the loin cloth.

The background gave me trouble, I'm not good at drawing snow having rarely seen it. And despite the place supposed to be an desolate wasteland it just felt wrong to have it so empty. So I chucked in that big er... thing to help it out a bit. It seemed to work.
