FINALLY. I finally finished this picture I've had sitting around since...last summer, I think? LOL. Well, I got around to it eventually. I was hung up on the grass, but gave me some tips on how to do it. I obviously have a lot to learn about watercolors, but I'm practicing. I got a book called "Watercolor for Beginners" and it looks promising.In the meantime, have a playful African Wild Dog!

Deciding the fur pattern probably took the longest, but the grass actually didn't take very long! Just short, quick strokes of the brush dipped in a mixture of yellow and olive green paint.

Thank you! I enjoy doing cartoonish stuff sometimes, it can be so much fun playing with expressions. And you can mess around with their coat pattern so much too!
