I know that line has been used by corgies & for corgies since the dawn of corgidom.Homer is a PURE BRED corgi at my local shelter...After 8 years, his owners dumped him. I really hate people sometimes.
Please make your next best friend a shelter dog! The thought that all shelter dogs are mutts is a myth! Homer is a pure bred Welsh Corgi.

Thanks girl! Me too, I love their little legs. I would adopt every dog if I had the money, space, and time...and if my parents would let me, hahah. I have two already so as of right now I can't have any more, but I think this guy will get adopted soon.

He's a cutie. I'm def. more of a cat person, but my Booper-Boo was a shelter kitty. My parents lab-huskie was part of some group that came to Petsmart tho. C=

Shelter kitties are great! : D My cat Stitch is a rescued barn cat, & Shirazz was rescued too...from the wild!

But the fact that they all had tragic pasts is not a myth. I don't really care what kind of dog I have so long as it's not like crazy and going to attack/bite people.

Weeeeell actually...not all of them have. Some dog's & cat's owners were very old & passed away, leaving them alone, but had great lives up until that point. /obsessed
I promise you, no shelter would adopt a hassle dog out to a family with children. Each dog is carefully tested in behaviar with people, food, other dogs, cats, etc... before they get put up for adoption.

You know what I like? I like hot dogs. I bet if I had a dog, every fourth of July me and him/her would have us some good ol' fashioned bar-b-que's. They would get like twenty hamburger patties and I would eat the hot dogs. Then we'd watch fireworks.

Agreed! I have two mutts right now, a Chow-Chow/Keeshond & a St.Bernard/Hound. But for some reason, some people think that pure bred dogs are better in every way (even if mutts are overall healthier and generally have better temperments).
