To be honest, it was so visually boring that I couldn't watch the show. And I heard that they turned Casey Jones into some sort of comedic relief, which is lame.

I still suggest it. If you ever do, I'd start with "Nano". Talk about an underused character.

That I guess was one problem. After Casey met the turtles, they didn't use him much afterwards. I wouldn't say comic relief but more dead weight. But, I still prefer it to the 80's cartoon where almost everyone was comic relief.

Yeah, Casey was always my favorite character for some reason. I think it was because he was the easiest to pretend to be when I was a kid (I had all of the sports equipment already).

The original comics also had that problem with Casey. I guess the show was just trying to follow the comics in that aspect.

I heard an interesting theory about Casey Jones. See, since the original turtles were supposed to be a parody of things that were popular in comic books at the time, Casey can be looked at as a poor man's Punisher. A vigilante who couldn't afford all those guns so he uses all the sports equipment he has lying around. Even in the 2K3 series he was given sort of a Punisher-like backstory. I find that interesting.

It's obvious that the cartoon version of Stockman was supposed to be a parody or homage or something to The Fly. Your awesome drawing looks a lot like Brundlefly from the 1980s remake I think.

I always like when someone takes characters from a series and puts his own twist on the characters. It just shows the different possibilities the show could have/should have been.

mmm I dont think it was either. I just knew it was some robot dude that baxter grew really attatched to, and then it got destroyed or something? and baxter was all distraught? i know it wasnt the robot dude krane used to walk around in. I dont really remember. i havent seent the show in ages. lol

haha. Yeah. I haven't seen it since I was a little kid. I think that about four years ago or so I watched one episode, but it was so cheesy I stopped it about five minutes in because I didn't want it to ruin my memories of TMNT.
