Description
When Igor was young and curious, he found a dying snake behind some bushes in his exploring trip. Instead of being afraid, he tried helping the snake. Atheris then promises him full protection, wealth and food if Igor gives him shelter. Igor of course, argeed since it sounded like a great deal. When he turned his back to find a shelter for the snake, what he did not know is that Atheris have already chosen a 'shelter'.

Igor knows Atheris isnt a normal snake, but cant quite figure out what he is. Atheris turned his blood, sweat and tears into gold. He gives him just what he has promised but everyone else is creeped out by Igor's "new friend".

Due to this, they have frequent fights, Igor's scars on his mouth and ear are both from Atheris. He tried to get him off multiple times throughout the years but never succeded. When he asked why dont Atheris just kill him, the snake insisted that he needs a 'shelter'.

But as Igor grows more and more exhausted, he realized that Atheris was probably surviving off of his energy and soul but he lacked the power to do anything about it.
