She was actually born amongst nature, she was born in a log cabin surrounded by dogs belonging to her parents. The dogs were a husky that looked like a wolf, a bulldog, a pitbull, a Frenchie, and the golden retriever. Those five dogs sparked her love of animals.

At a young age she actually saves one of her classmates lives. She was playing with a girl when she noticed a venomous snake coming their way. Skylar instantly took action and told her friend to run since there's a snake behind her. they quickly got a teacher if it wasn't for Skyler her friend would have been bitten by the snake.
