Acrylic, 16X20 canvas paper.In memory of Leia's portrayer, Carrie Fisher. Used a movie still from A New Hope for reference. I chose this image to work from because it's so powerful, so regal.
I did alter the background and slightly alter her lips, giving her a faint smile. I also added glitter to her cheek, because Fisher was known for anointing fans with glitter at conventions; at Dragon Con next year, we're going to wear glitter on our left cheeks in her honour.WIP progression: wolfenm.deviantart.com/art/Staβ¦
