I know this is months old, but i think the artist only wanted to put in the captains and pikmin that were in pikmin 3. Louie WAS in pikmin 3, so was olimar, But they were only playable in VS mode and stuff.

In pikmin 3 Louie's head icon background is yellow. So Louie's color does make sense. Plus his hair is yellow.

Charlie doesn't make sense though, But olimar makes sense, Because his suit's red.

Maybe the artist didn't do so because they either have no space or something else.

She or he probably made louie and alph that way because of their hair color, or just because it makes more sense than louie with blue and alph with white. That might look wrong on them.

The president isn't on her because he isn't a space explorer. This is for the characters you play as, not for just anything.

Yeah so you should know that the president IS a "space-explorer".
God I hate these faggots who only played Pikmin 3 and can't play the
normal ones because they are "too hard" or have "bad graphics",
I mean Pikmin 3 is a very good game but Pikmin 2 has so much
more to offer! And yeah Winged Pikmin are the worst.

I never played the first one because i don't have a game cube. And I didn't play pikmin 2 because I don't play wii any more. And the game came out a year before I was born.

I've played the first pikmin when i was at mcdonalds, the controls were backwards! XD

Never really played pikmin 2, and i've never seen people play as the president

Yes, this is an old comment but you do, I won't spoil the game and say why but he is playable. 

That said, I love what the artist did, it was more based on how they look than who they have been shown with in game... most on color and charlie is just plain built like a rock lol.

Did you even read the old comment??!! I said I'll understand. I know its playable I played it after I made the comment. I just didn't play a lot of it so I wasn't sure.
