Ok guys, here we go with the finished Christmas Pic! ♥From tonight I'm afraid I won't have much time to spend on DA: I've got presents to wrap, cards to write, friends to see and food to eat! C; (I really need some panettone and/or pandoro...)
Please, full view to try and catch every little detail, from Ratchet's clumsiness (...) and the strange shape of the bucket Sunny's using to Santa in the background (I'm so proud of that little thing! XD) and the not-so-safe-looking "snow maker"... C;

To start with this is a horribly adorable picture and I'll be the first to admit that I'm one of the worlds biggest suckers when it comes to your work.
Ratchet's 'horror' as his slip is quite IC(at least with his fannon potrayal) and Sideswipes fate is sealed...
Prowl....poor little Prowly, so much expression from one little Chibi mech, I'm not sure how you manage it but you've captured him wonderfully, it reminds me of Jazz's go in the G1 cartoon covered in snow and Jazz's little squiggle arms are some of the cutest I've ever seen you do.

Bluestreaks look of pure determination to hang his stocking is heart warming and Wheeljacks glee(maybe not a good thing) is infectious.
Starscream looks like he wants to join in but his ever growing pirde just couldn't handle it and I think TC is asleep...but he's adorable anyhow.
Santa in the background is awesome and I was like epp!*points* *dies from cute*
The colours are amazingly bright and it suits perfectly, though I am a little lost on where the shadows are coming from.

Mwahahah, I know it's embarassing, but I don't have a wise explanation about the shadows... X3 The smartaft one is that they are INSIDE the Ark (or the Nemesis, if you prefer...C; ), but they're using a holographic something to project a fake background to create a more Christmassy atmosphere! C;
In truth you're right, I shouldn't have drawn them, but I'm too lazy to redo the floor and, most importantly, my old laptop doesn't have the strenght to survive something like that... c;
Anyway, I'm super happy you find them to be IC! I'm always afraid my chibi aren't expressive enough, but if you can tell that Ratchet is being mischievous, Bluestreak uber-determined and Starscream conflicted... well, it means I', doing something right! C;

This proved to be so much more than what the preview with the Seekers implied.
First and foremost, I like how you stayed true to each character's personality, rather than allowing OOCness. In the end, it a lot funnier. xD Ratchet and Prowl are the funniest, IMO, as well as Screamer. But, is TC sleeping?
As for the art itself, your chibi style has got to be one of the most effective on dA. What I like is how manage to make the young/wild ones look like sparklings in this style, while making the polar opposites, Prowl and Ratchet, look just as mature and same-as-before, all with the same form. (The fact that some end up looking like they're wearing diapers is also funny.)
Overall, I like your handling of shadows and highlights. The one thing I do find problematic are the shadows of those in front of the wall that appear to have no light source.

First, the shameful admission: I did mess up the shadows. Sigh.
To tell the truth I won't probably be able to amend them, 'cause 1) I'm lazy and 2) my old Takepon (the laptop) won't let me. As I said somewhere, it's not very reliable... T_T
But I can give you the same smartaft explanation I gave :userLottle-Bubbles1990: : they're inside the Ark (or the Nemesis), but they're using a holographic projector or something to create a more Christmassy atmosphere... C; So the shadows don't come from the light of the moon, but the ship's own lights! C;
(and so WHY the tfs behind the wall don't have any shadow? Clearly they escaped, like it happened to Peter Pan once... xD )
Anyway... You made me very happy telling me you find them IC, and even more saying they're "effective chibi": I've never consciously thought about it, but it makes sense that, trying to keep them IC, I make some TFs uber cute and some more adult-like... C:
So thanks again, and before I forget: TC isn't really sleeping, it's more like he's experimenting the drowsiness that follows a good amount of Energon... c;
