If you are wondering "mardy" is a Yorkshire term so people who are really morose and moody and a "mardy-arse" is somebody whose nature is grim and sullen(as in, "Tha's a reet mardy-arse")
... and I've come across quite a few of them in dA!

I answer people alot but I have can have some nervous tendencies. Like if somebody used to give me alot of favourites or rather would just add me to their watch, don't get me wrong, I was really grateful and all but I would at first get really nervous about it and have an fear of response. But once I responded and saw that everything was fine it was smoother sailing from there. I don't seem to get that so much anymore and I overcome it so I guess that I'm not one of these characters.
But then what am I? A talk-to-much? (dribblus mouthus) A spotlight-grub? (attention me seekus) cos you know I have been known to be the center of attention at times in real life...

Ooohhhh, these annoy me. @_@. I always make sure to reply to all my comments. I don't always reply to all the deviations on my watchlist (because I watch WAY too many people. x_X) but I always reply to comments. Got to let people know I appreciate their comments, after all! ^_^.

I don't reply to +watches because it feels too much like "I'm glad you think I'm awesome"... in a not-good way. And I'm usually at a loss when it comes to short "thats good" comments. But thought-out comments almost always get something back from me.
Great pic. I just discovered this bestiary of yours about a month ago, and I'm loving it. So many of them are so true.

I've run across some people who use the "too many messages" excuse but most of them add that they'll do their best to respond despite that so I don't think they quite fit under here.
I think I've run across a few of these, I just don't pay enough attention to who responds and who doesn't to pick out which ones they are.
I, on the other hand, always feel like if I've gotten a comment (even if it's a response to a comment I made), then I should respond somehow so if I can't think of an intelligent response it'll just sit there for a while until I can finally bring myself to delete it because it's not getting any more responded-to.

Hehe...I will admit to being one of these in real life (Yes...I found out what this strange thing called 'real life' is...it's a sort of large round cake with strawberries accompanied by a fork) but I haven't seen too many mardy-arses on DA.
