Description So you guys following my sketch account (~Aero-Delite ) probably recognize this guy. I created him... four days ago? ARSENIC. Anyway, then it turns out NASA finds this possible alien bacteria which is arsenic-based. I mean, that's totally wicked cool. Not just the fact they might have found proof of alien life, but that it's arsenic-based. That's crazy. We're carbon-based, I'll have you know, and from the stuff I've read most scientists say silicon is the closest to something else supporting life. So because it's arsenic makes it that more badass... but also that more scary. Arsenic is a poison.

A-anywho, in commemoration of this extraordinary event, I gave Arsenic a picture. Seems he wanted to grab the camera, or something. He's going to be delightfully fun to write/draw.

He's also constantly followed by chickens.

It has not been discovered on alien planets.
It was created in a lab from an existing bacterium that was found in a lake in California.
After adding more arsenic in a lab experiment, the bacterium absorbed it into its DNA, replacing phosphorus.
They have not yet found proof of alien life, unfortunately.
It is not arsenic-based. It is carbon based.
It just has arsenic instead of phosphorus.

It's an amazing discovery, but that was WAY exaggerated.

But wait, it all depends though, if you get a free range chicken! or wouldn't the arsenic be taken out when cooked? You know what I mean. It's kinda like when pesticides are removed when the chicken is cooked.

Still, in my personal opinion I think it would be better to not use arsenic in chicken feed. You know, just for a pre-cation, but yet again, you don't hear much on the news or other sources of people going to the hospital or dying because of arsenic.
