Donnie?!

She looked up and saw a flash of purple...

The next morning, everyone packed. "Only the necessities, ok you guys?" "Ok, April!" Mikey said and held up a thumbs up. "Ok, Mikey!" April said with a soft smile on her face. She looked around for the purple-clad turtle of hers. She didn't find him in the room, "Hey, where's Donnie?" She asked Leo, "I think he said something about working on a project before we leave." April nodded, and made her way to the lab. She opened the lab door, "Donnie! Donnie!?" April yelled, "Where are you!?" She walked upstairs into Donatello's room. "Donnie Where are you?!", He looked half dead, wrapped up in his blankets in his bed, he was awake, It just didn't look like it. She sat on the bed near the pillow to see if he was ok, "Donnie," She said quietly, "Are you ok? You can wake up now. We're ready to go." She heard a soft groan from the pile of pillows and blankets. She just stared at it and frowned. She finally got under the covers, it was like a game of hide-and-go-seek, she couldn't find Donnie. She finally found him, "Donnie," She said in a quiet voice "What's wrong?" He sighed, it was almost like that day that he was sick because he knew that he would never have a chance with her, and when she lightly kissed him on the forehead that day, it just made him feel worse, "Nothing."
