Chapter 1

It has been a year since Kala found her brothers, Dask and Zak. She has been living with the turtles for three years now. Raph had finally opened up to her and Mikey's depression had gotten a lot better. Although, he still had thoughts from time to time.

Today, she was going out to visit Mikey. She grabbed her skateboard, "I'm going out, Red!" she called. "Alright, Koala! be careful!" "Alright! Bye!" "Bye!" Once Kala left, she pulled out her phone and started texting Mikey:

Kala: I finally got out!
Mikey: Wut do u mean?
Kala: He's been raging lately
Mikey: Oh! So r u almost here?
Kala: Yep! coming through the door
Mikey: Ok! see u soon!
Kala: Stellar!

Kala entered into Leo's apartment and looked around. She spotted Leo on the couch, "Hey Leo! Where's Mikey?" "Hey Kala! He's in the lab with Donnie." "Oh! Ok!" Kala ran into the lab, "Hey Mike!" Kala said as she entered into the lab. Mikey turned around and Kala gasped and fainted.

The next thing Kala found herself doing was laying down on a dingy old couch with Mikey at her feet, Raph at her right, Leo at her left, and Donnie under her. They were all asleep. "Um... you guys?" Nothing. "Guys!" Everyone immediately woke up. "Kala! I'll protect you!" Raph yelled "Uh... Raph?" "Kala! You're- you're ok!" "Yeah, Red! What's wrong?" "Well, Kala..." Leo trailed. "When you saw Mikey, you kinda, uh..." Leo wasn't sure how to put it. "You fainted..." Donnie said as he walked in with his med kit. A tingle went up Kala's spine. She hated medical supplies. Ever since she was little, and, even more since the adventure with her brother's Dask and Zak. At least one good thing came out of that. Mikey was still alive and most of all, no more seizures. "Why-why did I pass out?" "Well, you..." Donnie trailed "Mikey and me were experimenting... we had gas masks." "So why did I pass out?" Kala said getting irritated. "Well, Kala do you remember anything about gas masks from when you were little?" "What do you mean?" "Well, remember that time Mikey had had a seizure...?" "Yes" "And he had been having nightmares about cages...?" "Yea, so what does that have to do with me?" "I was thinking, that maybe something like that happened to you. Since your past is so much like Mikey's, but with your parents, Kala." Kala gasped "Kala, Kala! What is it!?" Kala stopped gasping. All her monitors went normal. She broke down crying, "Don-Donnie, I remember now."
