Once a Comrade of Dunban, he eventually become Power Hungry and Cowardly Betrayed Dunban in Favor of Lusting for the Monado's Power. As Shulk Obtained the Monado, he became even more Lustful and Desired to Destroy Colony 9 in order to Kill Shulk and his Friends.
Pit: What an Evil Man! It seems the Monado is only used by a Heart of Goodness, Heroism, Courageousness and Unselfishness. Pretty much like Link's Master Sword as it's only used by those who are Pure of Heart, Selfless, Brave and Strong.
