Can I ask what program you used?
If it's Painter, which brush settings? I ask because it looks so much like real paint - an effect I just can't seem to achieve no matter how much I tweak the brush settings.

I use Photoshop only. Β With a variety of custom brushes, it's not hard to get a natural look and feel. Β
