Sorry, no. You'll need to upgrade it to Java 6 or higher in order for it to work.

This might help you or not depending on your system config but I think that the version of the Shimeji core that ThanhnuFia ( that's a mouthful, can I just call you Fia?) used is outdated or corrupted in some way. I took a look at the files from the download and many of them had wonky names like they weren't being processed right.
So instead I went to this page here: code.google.com/p/shimeji-ee/
They have a download there for an english-language version of Shimeji
Once I had that I went to the image folder from the generic Shimeji and made a folder for Weiss, then copied everything in the img folder from this download except for the .jar file and pasted it in the generic program. Once it popped up it gave me the option to select Weiss as an image set.
One click of the mouse later and I have a little chibi-Weiss crawling across the top of my screen.

Each frame is very small (160x160 pixel) so the scar won't be visible even if I add them.

I've downloaded Shimeji before. I have Java 6 and all that. When I click the link it takes me to Google documents, and I'm not sure what to download. I've downloaded the .exe file and JAR file and I'm not sure what to do.
