I felt like drawing SUPERBOY once again... and decided to do just that...! I was thinking about how much I'd love to see a line of the big icons at DC as young versions to appeal to new and young readers-- but not as an 'ADVENTURES' style comic-- but something taken more seriously.Posted on my blog today.

He looks real animated, I can picture him moving, it makes me think of the old Disney animations, as well as the first issue of the Secret Identity mini-series, which contemplates a Superboy in the real world.
I like it a lot.

I always preferred Superboy's Teen Titan costume to the traditional Superman costume on him. But you handled this very well, I love it.

It took me about a half an hour.... yeah, this was a warm up sketch. Some times they come fast like this one-- and some times they're a real struggle.
It's different every time I sit down at the drawing table. It's one of the fascinating-- and frustrating-- things about drawing.

The friggin' bomb, bruvver! I want to see you do a new Legion series--somethin' that captures the nostalgia of the 70s series. Alan Davis did one that really worked as an homage book as well as a cool contemporary story.
