I need to work on the creativity of these titles.So this made me sad-- it had the potential to be my favorite in this series. And then life intervened, I had drawing issues, I discovered I had no reference for Kida, my printer broke, I succumbed (succame?) to my inner emo, and the potential kinda mutated into... this.
Se la vi.
Seventh (I think) in my series of hardcore Disney princesses... tho why I tried to make Kida hardcore when she already is, I'll never know. Insanity, I tell you *sigh*

She is still pretty, but I do agree. When looking at what you were able to accomplish with the other former fluffballs this seems a bit lacking in the BAMF department... Still a great rendition, but not as much imagination as the others, perhaps you'll re-approach it someday?

Unfortunately, "out of the norm" doesn't really lend itself to the DP target audience (i.e. little girls), so Kida doesn't get to be "official". Maybe if there were some kind of mass, grass-roots movement, Disney would reconsider.

I've never seen Atlantis:the Lost City, but after learning who she is from a certain fan art, Kida has become one of my favorite Disney princesses. But Disney not calling her an official princess is extremely stupid./ I mean, she's not an official princess just because SHE DIDN'T SING?! STFU Disney! >

I like all of them, but I like her because she isn't drop-dead gorgeous like the rest of them, and she isn't incredibly pale, basically, she isn't too steriotyped, which is why the movie wasn't very populare, the princess wasn't steriotyped, and the hero was a nerd.
