After watching Ghostbusters Afterlife here a couple of Days ago I was excited to do some Ghostbusters Artwork! I flashed back to the first movie and remembered during the Montage after they capture Slimer in the Sedgewick Hotel, You see a Magazine cover flash across the screen with an illustration of Peter and Egon and Ray on the cover of "The Atlantic" magazione, and I always loved that image since I was a little kid, and I've always wanted re-create it, so I finally decided to do my own take on it. I looked off the art that was there and Drew Ray and Peter and Egon, but I added in Winston and also changed the generic white ghost to Slimer! (Full credit to Stephen Silver who has an excellent Youtube Video on how to draw a cartoony Slimer!) It's a light hearted comical depiction of the guys and not really meant to be overly serious. for the background of the poster I kind of tried to make it look like the old VHS cover that was in my local video store as a kid, with a kind of retro, weathered sort of look. This is a bit different than my usual art. I tried to change up my coloring a bit to make it look a bit more...animated looking with it's solid shading etc. Well, sound off in the comments and let me know what you all think!
