This is my entry for the contest held by ! It looked like fun, and I've only drawn monkeys a few times before~ Plus, I love the challenge in creating and designing a fakemon, so I had to join this contest~ Feel free to suggest different names?

Also, thanks to one of my awesome close friends! He helped critique the color scheme until it looked the way it does now~

Pygmokey: (Pygmy + monkey)- shy and reclusive, this monkey is rarely seen. It loves to follow trainers as they travel through it's forest, stealing food from them in the middle of the night, leaving no clue as to it's ever having been there. It's large eyes make it hard for people to resist, a tactic it also uses to distract trainers while others in their tribe steal food from the trainers in broad daylight. The antennae on its head is extremely sensitive, and it can sense a disturbance from as far as a mile away using these hyper sensitive feelers.

Vervasp- (Vervet + Wasp) aggressive and territorial, this monkey pokemon often bear many scars from their fights with each other. They live in groups and are lead by an alpha male. The alpha males tend to have more and brighter green markings. They are not afraid to attack threats that are bigger than themselves, and their tails are also stingers- getting stung by a vervasp is a very painful thing- the stingers are barbed and must be surgically removed from the victim. They paralyze prey with their venom.
