An angry white lion cub! This one was taken at Australia's Mogo Zoo, south of Sydney. These white lions are maginficent creatures, and must be seen in the 'fur' so to speak so their full beauty can be appreciated!Camera: Canon EOS 400D

these guys are GORGEOUS! last year i won the competition to name then (then) 2 month old second litter of cubs (the zoo liked my names of Tamu (for the male) and Kito) for the female, so I got to go in and meet the cubs (have a few pics up here)

white lions althrough born in the wild, well at least some of them are condemned at birth, because the other lions often tend to reject the white lion cubs, and if they manage to get to aldulthood, they still have problems because of their color, the prey's see them more easily than the other lions, so they often starve to death, so the white lions in zoo are much better in captivity than in the wild

Wow, I didn't know that white lions even existed. o_o; He sure is a beautiful cub, but it's a shame that he's in captivity.

Most of my shots are taken through bars or glass, this one was through a wire fence, but if you have a teloscopic lens you can usually filter out the bars. Its a pity that all while lions live in captivity, and not in the wild
