Description
Statement: During this time I was engaging in a piece of fan-based fiction. My plot focused around the characters from the popular children's cartoon "Xiaolin Showdown," while being set in the very near future. I stylized the characters to fit my image of their adult selves. It was also during this time that I had completed two life drawing classes at my college, so my coloring skills in terms of realism had evolved greatly. This was also the first time I colored without a defined outline. I submit this piece as an example of my color pencil skills.
