Made for the current contest at #Harry-potter-club , focusing on the adventures the Marauders have.Because no matter what sort of adventures the Marauders have, I imagine they always end up on the run for some reason or other XD James leading the way and loving it, Sirius kind of bemused that 'oh look, we got caught again', and Remus with his pants a little too long and frustrated that James forgot to put the cloak ON before sneaking around and getting spotted, and Peter puffing along trying to keep up with with them and not let on that he's getting out of breath
I'm amazed I managed to get this all done in one sitting honestly, but I'm getting quicker at doing lineart this way
And obviously I used references from a bunch of running shoes ads I found on google for the poses, because otherwise they'd probably have scary proportions 
But yeah! I had a blast with the darker shading, and the background ended up looking so much nicer than I expected! I like painting stone work too much, lol.

haha I only feel that way if it's a traced base... you never know if the basist actually asked them permission. Unless they have proof. I find a big difference in drawing on a base and dolling. Drawing on a base is... usually half done. Dolling SHOULD be a piece of art that looks like the artist tried.

Yeah, I just feel like if someone else drew the person and the pose as a base, it's like most of the effort is done. I like doing my own poses and such, I feel like people don't learn anything using bases.

well you don't learn anatomy very much. The only thing I learn is different techniques with pixels. Though that's a pretty big thing by itself.
