Description In a dinosaur book, there was a picture comparing a Microraptor to a bird. You could see both of their skeletons and feather outlines. The bird had a nice, thick coat of feathers that hid quite a bit of his anatomy. Yet, poor little Microraptor had an awfully skinny and shaggy coat of feathers. You could easily make out quite a bit of his skeletal anatomy. So, I used Hartman's skeletal and made a fluffy Microraptor. Enjoy!

Beautiful! This is definitely a much more realistic-looking Microraptor than those silly snake-neck reconstructions. I like how poofy the neck is and how you feathered even the toes.

Thank you, I just thought he looked better with feathery feet, even if they are just partially feathered.  And your Microraptor from, "Microraptor Piscivory" looks so incredibly amazing and beautiful.  I really liked the fluffiness yours has, too.  Yay for fluffy Microraptors!
