No not wool its synthetic hair. It does have cotten batting wrapped around it and a coat hanger inside then the top part is foam.

that is incredible!!! do you make a wire frame then wrap the wool round it? sorry if its not wool... thats just what it looks like, the wool we use for felting ^^
