Figured I should upload this, now that I've actually handed in to my teacher and it's even made it to the wall!
(For those of you who don't know, our art department has a wall on the third floor where the best drawings from different classes are displayed, so the big goal is always to reach the wall)The objective of this assignment was to make an image that appeared to be made from thick paint, and while I feel that I got the depth executed well, I kind of forgot that thick paint doesn't go transparent quite like that. Regardless, I'm happy and a little surprised that my teacher picked it, but alls well that ends well.
The picture is one my mom took after I had come in from dog walking with frosty eyelashes. It looked cool, so I asked her to take a picture.

This is REALLY cool (especially for guys like me with poor eyesight, so I can make the colors blend nicely by stepping away from the screen), I hope you'll do more like this.

Thanks! I'm actually surprised at how much people like it. I'll definitely keep playing with that style then, though I don't know where it will go.

Hmmm... I have one more in this style, but I'm still deciding whether I like it or not, haha. I will have to play with everything I've learned, that's for sure!
