For my mums' birthday. Without references, although I did do a google search. Mainly to check if those flowers she told be about, where those I had in mind. And something about medical use.
I also tried to find some systematic drawings, because I think it's a great way to understand stuff...but..well. None I could find.
The hairy-scratching at the stems was because I remembered reading something about hairs in those search, though.
The scratching itself has some nice effect in the right lighting, though it messed my surface up.

I am still a beginner with colored pencils.. though that isn't surprising..considering I hated them pretty badly & never used them. So it was somewhat of a challenge to just...so something like that in a very short time as a present.
