Well, I've gotten her done! Applejack is made with Anti-pill fleece (bleck! I have a dislike for fleece) Her eyes and cutie mark are appliqued felt. Her freckles (though hard to see because of the sunlight) were painted on using acrylic paint. Her hat is made from scrap vinyl leftover from my dog's Halloween costume last year (it's the perfect color, I think!) She has plastic pellets in her hooves for stability, then polyfil the rest of the way. She also has wire in the legs to keep them from spreading too far. She stands a little more than a foot tall.I'd love to hear what others have to say about her!
I have fabric for the "mane" cast plus Doctor Whooves, so look forward to more in the near future!
She is SOLD, I will probably start taking commissions after the Holidays, thank you!

She is actually the first pattern I designed completely from scratch. My others I would use other patterns and adapt them, and didn't always gain the look I wanted. Now though, I think I have it figured out.

I see fleece like this, it's a great product for less confident people to learn to sew with (or not sew at all since it is something you can tie together without having to worry about fraying), and great for keeping warm if you have problems with the cold.
Me, however, think I'm a pretty decent at sewing, a prefer less stretchy material for my plushies anyway (it may not be as stretchy as a swim-knit, but it does have give to it) I like a nice soft upholstery suede or minky for my plushies. And I get hot WAAAAAY to easy to use fleece in clothes or blankets. So yeah, fleece is not my friend most of the time.
And yeah, I'm pleased with how she finished . . . Now if I could just get eBay to upload her picture! *grumbles*
